This joke was funnier on Twitter because twitter asked you where you live and put it in your profile. The only way you are allowed to narrow the group of people you interact with is by language. This joke works in Swedish because everyone speaking Swedish is experiencing the same weather. It doesn't work here in English because I don't know where any of my English audience is- Canada? Australia? Virginia?
