This is also why I think the role of "Software Architect" is a fraud or industrial sabotage, in Veblen's sense of economic agents more concerned with social status, tribalism, etc. More important to sabotage your company because if you don't create the fires, you are not a needed to rebuild the rubble, etc.
Every team with an Architect is unhappy, but each teach with an architect is being sabotaged in a different way for different motivations. Hard to summarize.
