I'm going to try to keep up a mixed topic account here, except for religion. Non-hegemonic health (veganism) and partisan politics (liberal politics) I can put behind a content warning or just not worry about it.

Self-replies

My religion posts tend to be preachy & increasingly technical. I think there are certain categories of content that are like a hard core autistic talking about whales... if you're not that into whales, you just will be wasting your audience's time.

Also, religion is sort of a partisan conversation online (people assume that if you're religious that you're the worst sort of southern baptist, a theist and literal believer in nonsense) ... when your quirky religious practice could be atheistic, independent & not even based on Christian material.

(oh, and among Buddhists, 80% of them figure other Buddhists are bad people unless they're members of a current institution, believe in the magic parts, etc, so layers on layers of partisanship)
