From my experience on a condo board, the org can only take so much shit flinging from a concerned member before everyone who isn't flinging shit quits. This also applies to sealions politely, self-righteously flinging shit. Maybe that sealion really is polite or is even right & the majority is wrong, the shit flinging will wreck the organization. In a condo it is almost impossible to keep these people off the board.

In an organization that matters, there is usually some process for kicking people out. In a condo, you can't, they're one of the only people running for the board so they win automatically.
Anyhow, society relies too much on people mindlessly flinging shit to look down at their hands, see the shit and set it down.
