**Me**: I need to restore my database to the same server, same domain, same connection string
**AWS**: Oh no. We can only create another copy RDS with snapshots. Your connection string will change and you'll need to redeploy everything. Would you like to buy some domain names and add DNS management to your TODO list?

**AWS**: RDS is restored the same way reincarnation restores you to a new body. You will have no memories and no one will recognize you.
